You have two options: driving, which is the quickest, or public transport, which takes longer but works well.
Travelling by car
This is the simplest option for families with children. Here is the route from our apartments:
- Join the A1 motorway towards Lille, a few minutes from Épinay-sur-Seine
- Follow the A1 north for around 25 kilometres
- Take the dedicated "Parc Astérix" exit, located between the Charles de Gaulle Airport and Senlis exits
- Total journey time: 30 to 35 minutes outside rush hour
Parking at the park is charged. We recommend leaving early in the morning so that you arrive at opening time and avoid the evening traffic on the way back. Several of our apartments include a private parking space, so you will not need to look for a spot when you return.
Travelling by public transport
Without a car, allow around 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30 minutes door to door, travelling via Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- Transilien H from Épinay-Villetaneuse station to Gare du Nord: around 10 minutes
- RER B from Gare du Nord to Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1: around 35 minutes
- Parc Astérix shuttle bus from the airport to the park entrance: around 30 minutes
The shuttle is a paid service and is not included in Île-de-France transport tickets. For the RER journey to the airport, you will need a dedicated airport ticket, unless you have a Navigo pass, which covers this destination. Check the shuttle timetable on the park's official website before you set off, especially the time of the last return service in the evening.
