Where to stay before a flight from Paris-Beauvais Airport

Finding somewhere to stay before a flight from Paris-Beauvais Airport takes a little planning. The airport is in Tillé, in the Oise department, around 80 kilometres from the capital, and the budget airlines that use it often schedule early morning departures and late evening arrivals. Many travellers therefore choose to spend a night in the Paris region, either the day before take-off or on the way back, so that they can reach the airport without rushing.

Our NiaBnb apartments in Épinay-sur-Seine and Villetaneuse are north of Paris, on the Beauvais side of the city. In this guide, we explain how to reach the airport from our apartments, what you need to know about the Saint-Denis Université shuttle, and which apartment suits your trip.

Why spend the night north of Paris before a flight from Beauvais?

The airport is a long way from Paris, so you need to leave early

No metro or RER line serves Beauvais Airport. To get there, you take a coach shuttle, a regional train followed by a bus, or the road. In every case the journey takes more than an hour, on top of the time airlines ask you to allow for check-in and security. If you are travelling from elsewhere in France or from abroad, sleeping nearby the night before saves you from combining a long journey and a flight on the same day.

Our apartments are north of Paris, on the way to the airport

Épinay-sur-Seine and Villetaneuse are in Seine-Saint-Denis, north of the capital. From our apartments you have three useful ways out towards Beauvais: RER line C, which runs directly to Porte Maillot, Transilien line H, which reaches Gare du Nord in 10 minutes, and the A15, A86 and A1 motorways, all close by. You do not have to cross the whole of Paris with your luggage.

An entire apartment lets everyone rest before departure

The evening before a flight is easier in a place where everyone has a bedroom. Our apartments are let in full, with an equipped kitchen so that you can have dinner in and make breakfast at whatever time suits you, however early. All of them have WiFi, which is handy for checking your flight and downloading boarding passes. The price covers the whole apartment rather than each guest, which lowers the cost for a family or a group of friends.

How do you get to Beauvais Airport from our apartments?

There are three options. The right one depends mainly on your flight time and on how many of you are travelling.

The Porte Maillot shuttle is a direct RER C ride away

The official airport shuttle, line A01, leaves from Porte Maillot, on boulevard Pershing in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. It has been running from this stop again since 14 December 2025. Coaches leave roughly every 15 to 30 minutes, from about 3 am to 8 pm, and the journey takes between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes depending on traffic.

From Épinay-sur-Seine, the RER C station takes you to Neuilly-Porte Maillot without a change, in around twenty minutes. It is the simplest route with suitcases. Shuttle tickets are sold online on the Aérobus website for less than 20 euros one way per adult, with a reduced fare for children aged 4 to 11.

The train from Gare du Nord connects with a bus to the terminals

The second option is the train. Transilien line H links Épinay-Villetaneuse station to Gare du Nord in 10 minutes. From there, a TER regional train reaches Beauvais station in about 1 hour 15 minutes. The station is a few kilometres from the airport, and Corolis bus line 6 covers the last stretch to the terminals in about a quarter of an hour. Please note that the Navigo pass does not cover the TER journey, because Beauvais is outside the Île-de-France region. You will need a separate train ticket.

By car, the A16 motorway leads to the airport

By car, allow about an hour between Épinay-sur-Seine and the airport, depending on traffic, taking the A16 motorway towards Beauvais. This option suits travellers whose flight leaves very early, before the first trains, as well as families with a lot of luggage. The Grand Appartement and Dumas 2 each have private parking, so you can leave your vehicle safely overnight.

A summary of the routes

  • RER C: Épinay-sur-Seine to Neuilly-Porte Maillot, around twenty minutes, no change
  • Aérobus shuttle A01: Porte Maillot to Beauvais Airport, between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Transilien H: Épinay-Villetaneuse to Gare du Nord, 10 minutes
  • TER train: Gare du Nord to Beauvais station, about 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Corolis bus line 6: Beauvais station to the terminals, about a quarter of an hour
  • Car: about an hour from Épinay-sur-Seine on the A16 motorway, depending on traffic

Timetables and fares change through the year. Always check your route on the Aérobus website, on SNCF Connect and on the Île-de-France Mobilités app before you set off.

Is the Saint-Denis Université shuttle still running?

The line has been suspended since 26 January 2026

Many travellers still look for the Saint-Denis Université shuttle. This line, known as A02, was launched in March 2024 and left from the terminus of metro line 13, a few tram stops from our apartments. At the time of writing, in October 2026, it has been suspended since 26 January 2026. Both the airport website and the Aérobus website say so, and neither gives a date for its return.

Two departure points are currently served

Two shuttle lines still run from Paris: line A01 from Porte Maillot, and line A04 from La Villette, in the 19th arrondissement. The latter offers around ten return journeys a day, and online booking is compulsory. From our apartments, Porte Maillot remains the most convenient departure point thanks to the direct RER C. If the Saint-Denis Université line resumes, it will once again be a very practical option, so do check the Aérobus website when you plan your trip.

Which NiaBnb apartment should you choose before or after your flight?

For a family or a group travelling together

Dumas 2 sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, a 5-minute walk from the RER C station. It is our best-placed apartment for reaching Porte Maillot. The apartment has been fully renovated, it is on the 6th floor with a lift, and private parking is included. You let yourself in using a key safe, and prices start at 100 euros a night for the whole apartment.

The Grand Appartement also sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, over 76 m², with private underground parking. The RER C station is within walking distance. Prices start at 90 euros a night.

For a family of four or five

Blumenthal sleeps up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, from 85 euros a night. Tram T8 stops outside the building and you let yourself in using a secure key safe, which is welcome when your plane lands in the evening.

For a couple or a guest with reduced mobility

Les Coteaux, in Villetaneuse, offers 52 m² with one bedroom and a separate living room, from 65 euros a night. The apartment is accessible to guests with reduced mobility, with step-free access, a lift and an adapted bathroom. Tram T8 runs right outside the residence.

How should you plan the day before your departure?

Work backwards from your take-off time

Start with your take-off time and count back. The shuttle operator advises taking a coach that leaves at least 3 hours 30 minutes before the flight. Add the RER journey to Porte Maillot and a margin for waiting. For a flight at midday, for example, plan to leave the apartment at about 7.30 am.

Have a plan for very early flights

The first RER and Transilien trains run at around 5 am. If your flight leaves before 9 am, public transport is generally not enough to get you there in time. In that case, driving or booking a taxi the day before is the safest choice.

Book your tickets in advance

Buy your shuttle or train tickets before the day of departure. You will avoid queueing at the ticket office and you will be sure of your departure time. Keep the tickets on your phone, alongside your boarding passes.
